what is the hardest (worst/toughest/unrecommended) thing you have ever put a folding knife through, without breaking it?
and what was the knife you did "it" with?

cut a thick metal screen top off of my Bearded dragon cage. with my rat 1. Its all scratched to hell now. Knife still works great.

I will do just about anything to my edc knives as long as I know it's not likely to snap the blade. I abuse them but never use them as screwdrivers. Go figure.

pics or it didn't happen!

I split kindling with the blade on my soldier SAK. Softwood and no batoning. Worked quite well.

This week I have used my knife to cut sod, batoned it through battery cables, and used it in the folded position as a hammer. It's a Rukus so it has some weight behind it.

Back in my regularly going camping days, I tried to baton a Buck 110 through a gnarly old oak limb that had been cut already with a chain saw and was ~10" to 12" in diameter. I didn't cut myself, but I did end up destroying the 110. My technique wasn't the greatest, and that may have been the fault of that fifth of Bushmills Black Bush I was sipping on when I said, "Hey, watch this."

Now when I drink Bushmills, I either keep my knife in my pocket, or if I do take it out I just stroke it.....the knife fool!

I've used my recon1 to cut steel wire trailer locks off. Broke all the serrations and said F-it I'm buying a plane edge. I've used the plane edge to do the same thing.

Too lazy to post a link plus I'm on my phone but YouTube ZT 0301 user freecuz. That was a while ago but I use to abuse my 301 at work all the time. These days it's a small and lighter Grayman Dua.

My Uncle Henry as a big chip in the blade because my dad saw someone pry something with the blade in a movie and he figured he could also do it.

I pried some conduit off the wall enough to fit a cable behind it with my A100, the coating has seen better days...
