EDC bag that doesn't scream TACTICAL

I know. You can only try to camouflage something up to a point. I, however, find myself in a dilemma --- a niece and her family came over for a visit, and upon seeing my EDC bag, said "it sure looks PRETTY"! Shuddering every once in a while at the so-called compliment, i am now wracking my brains how to bring back my EDC bag's masculine side, hahahaha!!!

grandpafalgui, welcome to Bladeforums! I spent most of my life in NYC -- in the good old days! :)

GREAT thread. Bookmarked it.
Ramiel -- http://www.badbags.com/store/duffel-p-31.html really nice duffels!
blt-2-drg -- the Marmot is a winner. I may have to buy one. Thanx for the pix!

Thank you for the welcome, sir. It's nice to be here and looking forward to more enlightened exchanges. As an admitted bag-whore, I am amazed at all the information, and hope to participate more as time goes by. Have a great week!

Anything North Face makes..... they are plenty tough and lightweight. 1000D Condura isn't the end-all, be-all material for backpacks. I have 2 in my rotation that blend into any situation - crowds of people, at the office, the beach - wherever.

At about $50 a pop, you'll have plenty of cash leftover to buy some gear to stuff inside. ;)
