It was a joke.
Reality is:
A2 tool steel, 59HRC, triple temper.
4-3/4"long X 1/4" thick near the bolster,1-1/8" at widest place blade. Hand rubbed to 600 grit, flat ground.
Bolster is copper-brass mokume(my make). Finished to 600 grit.
Hidden tang.
Claro Walnut sculpted handle (4-1/2"), hot treated with linseed oil and tung oil. Polished with carnauba wax.
The sheath is hand sewn dyed leather. Wet fitted for this knife. Treated with balm and some carnauba. It has "free" belt loop with brass hinge. The gap is brazed.
I am asking $175 shipped CONUS with Insured Priority Mail.
SOLD

PayPal sent. My PayPal account shipping address is good; US Postal Service is good.

Thanks

Looking forward to the knife.

I put some more carnauba on the handle for you. When you will get the knife polish it with some clean cloth. And be carefull, it is sharp.
Thank you again. I'll send it on Monday. Our Post Office is closed weekends.

URGENT
The shipping address from PayPal is different from what I have in my records. Could you send me the right address on my E-mail please?

Shipping address clarified by email.

I'll be careful with the blade. When I first started buying handmade knives I lost a lot of blood handling my new treasures, but I've learned to stay away from the sharp and pointy parts.

You got a nice knife from Dmitry! Good score! I have one of his blades and it fits in the hand like it was made for it.

Got the knife today. It's a very elegant design - very clean, uncluttered lines.

Feels good in the hand.

Thanks a lot.

Now that I've had the knife for a few days - I'm even more impressed than I was originally. The pictures on the web don't do it justice.

The blade's just beautiful - 1/4" at the boster then it tapers to the tip. The flat grind really complements the taper of the blade.

This is a real winning design - I hope you use it again.
