Hello All, Just finished with this cool little knife. Hope you like what you see, and of course comments are always welcome. This will be one of the last I will build in Oregon. With the palm swell this knife feels very nice in hand, and the pics do it no justice.
Blade is CPM 154 .132 thick and 3 in. tip to guard. O/A is 7.187. The blade has been polished and then finished with 2000 grit. The blade reaches about .250 into the pammel.
Guard is 416 stainless and is carefully silver soldered.
Handle is African Black wood stabilized by KnG. with fossil walrus, ironwood, brass, and thin black spacers. Very solid construction, and will last many lifetimes if not abused.
Sheath is hand tooled and hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather. I use the Loveless cam idea and it is very effective to unsure the knife is secure yet is easy to withdraw.
