EDC bites Eagle Scout

My friend, who became an Eagle Scout when he was just thirteen, ( so should have known better ) cut a real nice "flap" into his right thumb with my Camillus EDC. He said his thumb just slipped up on the blade. I looked over, and there was a glass with some Scotch and water in it....luckily, I had an emergency medical kit in the truck. We could see down to the white cartilege-looking stuff. He is doing fine. Should I give him this knife? Comments welcome. In all fairness to Eagle Scouts, he did know how to bandage himself up nicely. ( just kiddin' ) rdogout

The question is whether he'll want it now that it bit him...

You might want to give it to him since his blood already got all over it--either that or sterilize the hell out of it.
