EDC Challenge

Love my full sized A-100. Or new CRKT M4-02. If you wanna go a lil more traditional Case trapperlock or Queen mountain man lockback(tho not a 1 hander)

Mcusta, Buck, Böker or custom maker. I got my custom friction folder for $115 including shipping.

I would suggest the Buck Vantage series, any of them. Hell, any Buck would be fine. Other than that, I would suggest a Sanrenmu 710 or 723. I carry the 710 to work everyday and it has been an awesome knife even though it was inexpensive. I have also heard good things about Boker and CRKT, but have not got one of either yet.

Buck 110

Mcusta is good

Boker Exskeliburs are nice and affordable

For an inexpensive, but solid knife, Boker has some fine designs to choose from. SOG is another fan favorite. Walmart is selling the Spec Elite I's on their .com for only $70. That's a great large EDC.

Good luck. At that price point the very manufacturers you mentioned will have the best knives. Just curious but why don't you want something from any of them?

Buck, Cold Steel, Bolker, Bladetech, Leatherman.

Those are a few of the ones with a decent price point that I would be willing to buy from.

RAT1 hands down. Just a very well folder at a steal of a price on the bay and elsewhere. Next I would say if you can find a First Responder by 5.11 I would snag one of those too. Spear point, S30v and like 60 bucks when I bought mine on a close out. Next would be a Buck 110 and you should be set for edc carry and tactical and hunting. keepem sharp

or Queen mountain man lockback(tho not a 1 hander)

It is a bit of practice needed, but the Mt. Man is a one hand opener with a pinch grip :) 10 minutes and you'll be doing it as efficiently as any Spyderco or Benchmade

The above mention of a Fallkniven P with a promotional price is definitely something to consider !

Otherwise, Mcusta is indeed really good, but keep in mind that most of them are rather small, and designed for gentlemeny use rather than heavy utility use.

Also check the Beretta Harsey. Well made in Italy by Fantoni.
