Thank you for recommondation, i will definitly keep my eyes on both the SFNO and NMSFNO.
rob, great review. How is the TGLB compared to NMSFNO, in the review you said it is about 8.25", it kinda looks smaler than the TGLB wich is about 7.75. Have you held both?
I have held both and can say that you can't go wrong with either one. The NMSFNO is definitely bigger in weight and length. Also keep in mind, the NMSFNO has a grind that is perfect for all types of EDC applications and more. The TGLB could serve as a slow but punishing fighting knife, where as the NMSFNO is just about pure practical muscle. It's chopping ability is really impressive and yet it's no nonsense design leaves out any gimmicks or parts that have no functional use. I personally think there is nothing out there in the medium/large size range that matches this knife as a jack of all trades knife. The black canvas handle in my review are magnum handles which feel amazing when you hold it. Also if you look in the video, the blade sweep is ideal for a wide range of uses that includes skinning large game, food prep, chopping, batoning, and if you work it right making kindling.
