I'm sure this gets asked quite a bit but I'm looking for a small EDC fixed blade. I currently have a CRKT SPEW but I'm looking for something with a little better edge retention around the same size.

I've been looking at the Spyderco ARK or Enuff but I'm open to suggestions!

Actually I think I settled on the Bradford Guardian3.

I was looking for the same thing 6 months ago, a week ago i got the Lionsteel M4 and im very satisfied. Though its slightly bigger than the guardian i dont mind EDCing it. If you live in the US and like the guardian, go ahead M390 is awesome. For me i decided against it mainly because of the price (shipping + tax = around 60$ extra )

If you can conceal carry a fixed blade in your area, the Bradford Guardian 3 all the way. Super small package and an awesome knife. If you can't conceal carry, you'll either have to make sure your shirt doesn't cover it, or get a kydex sheath and turn it horizontally, OOOOOOOR as others have said, a Lionsteel M4.

I have the G3, and the M4. With the G3 you have a choice of 3 types of steel. My G3 is M390, and has excellent edge retention. The M4 is a bit larger, and fills the hand better for heavier work.

I love them both, but for different jobs.
The G3... smaller, lightweight, less belly. Great for general daily use.
The M4...more suited for heavy general use. Also comes with a traditional type, vertical belt sheath.

As the kids say, YOLO
