Nice set-up, Tom! That's exactly what I do with my little Dozier. The paracord is sized to loop over my belt and hang in my front pocket. I also have aftermarket pocket and belt sheaths that fit it as well. I use the pocket and belt sheaths for several different knives.

I trusted Glennbads judgement and it payed off. That stag is pretty! Nice!
What a great thread!Beautiful blades!!
There's another fixed and folder thread where traditional folders appear frequently!!!
Thread 'Fixed Blade & Folder Combo' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/fixed-blade-folder-combo.1717322/
What a great thread!
Why haven’t I seen it???
Because I never venture off the Porch.
I have always been surprised that this is not a thread topic that someone had already started in the traditional forum since several guys carry a fixed knives with their traditional folder. But perhaps they post in this other threads from time to time. I did recognize a few names over here in the world of General posting. It does remind me that BF is a much bigger place than our Traditional slice of the pie
.
Thanks for linking this thread. Tons of great posts here!
Cool knife, Jon, and a great gesture, F.C.I by no means am qualified to start this thread.
But, the man who definitely is… @ephsea , sent me a package in the mail today that was a total surprise. In it was an awesome Cudeman Sanabria II in BURLAP. THANKS SO MUCH F.C. for the awesome gift!
I have been attracted to EDC fixed blades for some time, but have not taken the plunge because I know myself and I know I will get tossed head first down the rabbit hole and my wallet may never forgive me.
The Cudeman is a great size and I have mentioned elsewhere on the porch that I’m not sure why we don’t see more of this maker on the forum. I really look forward to using it!
Perhaps this can be a thread for all the fixed EDC eye candy to accumulate! I know that F.C. can surely put on a show!
Thanks again buddy!

Oddly enough (or not since opinions are known to vary) I think that Dozier sheath for the personal is the ne plus ultra, top shelf King of kydex.
Cool knife, Jon, and a great gesture, F.C.
I started carrying fixed blades a lot more once I figured out what size I like and how I like to carry them. For me 5-6 inches is the sweet spot. I like to either drop it in my pocket in a sheath or clip them in my pocket in a sheath. Kydex or leather work for me. Here are the few small ones I have, pictured with a GEC 15 for scale. I’ve mostly been carrying the two Kreins on the right lately.

Thanks Jon. Here’s the sheath shot. That’s awesome Bart. I always have admired your taste in small fixed blades. The Krein is exceptional.
I’d love to see some of your favorite sheaths when you get a chance.
Nice, what brand/model is that fixed blade?
I think this knife was put together by a friend of mine. Puronvarsi hunter blade + stabilized Karelian birch. I myself changed the shape of the handle to suit my hand.Nice, what brand/model is that fixed blade?
