buck vantage comes in a variety of steels (420hc, 12c26n s30v) and all under $100 only problem ive heard were from the old models that the blade centering was off, which has been fixed
Benchmade 530 is a great flipper. In fact, if you just pull the axis lock, it almost opens like a gravity knife, and you can even flip it closed again too. VERY light. I'll put a review up when I get a chance. I love it, although it's easy to forget you're carrying it because it's so light.
The buck vantage is a great knife at great price. Even bass pro sells them for sub $50. The zing has always interested me but I can't get past the 3d machining. I had a groove, I loved the steel and profile of the knife, but the 3d machining got in the way of cutting duties.
