EDC - folder or multitool???

I carry both. Leatherman Charge XT and Benchmade Folder. I also EDC an A2 in a cargo pocket. Problem is that 3 of my 4 pockets now have clips sticking out of them. Get weird looks.

A folder always.
usually a Spyderco or a Benchmade.

I seldom far from my tools in the house or my tools in my truck.
I only EDC a multi-tool if I know that I'll be working on a project for hours or when it's inconvient to make trips to my tool-box (like if I'm up on the roof).

I usually carry a folder, a SAK (you NEED a SAK) and a multitool.

If I'm outdoors, I carry a fixed blade all the time.

My folder and SAK are on me, on of them in a belt sheath the other one in my pocket.

Multitool is in my pack. It's either a LM Wave or a SwissTool (I'm getting a SwissTool Spirit Plus soon).

I've found that a medium SAK (I love the Huntsman) can handle most of my daily tool needs and is a lot more comfortable to carry around than a multitool. I keep the multitools mainly for their pliers, which do come in handy a couple of times a day.
