EDC Folder with Hook Knife?

I'm looking for a decent EDC folder with a blade in the 3.5"-4" range that has a built in hook knife in the handle, does such a thing exist? I've found the SOG Trident folder which has a notch cut out in the handle so the blade can be used as a hook knife when closed which seems like it should work well if you don't have to keep forcing the blade closed when you want to use it as a hook knife, are there any others out there?

The hook knife portion I'd like to use for cutting things like fishing line, paracord, smaller gauge rope and cables, etc... and be able to cut through a seatbelt if needed.

You mean a guthook? I think I've seen a Buck or two with one. Victorinox makes a pruner model with a hawkbill and the Spyderco Tasman Salts and Harp have large hawksbill blades. I've seen a few rescue folders with belt/shroud cutters - the Gerber Hinderer has something like that: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...a=X&ei=325GTLLzO4L68AbWiNmpBQ&ved=0CDAQ9QEwAw.

I'd say carry a regular EDC and a tiny Boker Rescom. I use one on my climbing harness and it works very well for slashing webbing, cord, and the like. I don't have to worry about stabbing my partner at crowded hanging anchors, either.

Are you talking about a belt cutter, gut hook or "spoon" making knife? Simplest terms i can think of lol.

Sorry I wasn't more specific. I'm a skydiver and I carry 2 "hook knives" for emergencies to cut away suspension/steering lines, similar to the ones seen here:

.

So what I was wondering was if there is such a knife that has something similar built into a folding blade, kind of how the SOG Trident folder does, though the cutout on the trident doesn't look like it would work too well. It would just be an EDC and having the hook knife builtin would save me from carrying 2 knives.

Trident for reference:

See how you would be able to safely cut lines/cord/whatever without opening the blade or injuring someone next to you.

These were fairly common for a little while:
I'm counting only knives with it built into the handle, otherwise many knives have hooks built into the blade I would just search rescue on a knife selling site. Also yes the trident cutter sucks, alot. ;)

MOD has some knives with a strap cutter.

The Ontario XR1

leatherman selway

SOG bipolar

tripple 8 rhino knife

Mantis mt8

schrade 1st responder

smith and wesson first response

victorinox rescue tool has a dedicated cutter too i think but it folds out.

There are other designs that have the hooks built into the blades, with also work quite well, but some

Awesome, thanks for all the rec's, I was able to find one that looks perfect for what I wanted, I looked at the S&W First Response Rescue Knife and found out they had another model call Extreme Ops First Response which looks like it has a much better hook knife built into it.

Ok, so I guess I just needed to search for a "rescue knife", found a lot more from many different brands. Now I just need to find a good quality one with a spring assisted opener.
