EDC for dress pants

Al mar Falcon ultralight. Polished micarta. These Al Mars are classy as hell.

I were dress slacks every day for work and EDC a slightly modded crkt ripple as a money clip in one pocket and a crkt swindle in the other. Nothing 'tactical' about either one of them but I've got sharp pointy things to take care of all the challenging knife chores that confront me when I'm wearing dress slacks. ;) Very happy with both of them for this light duty.

Keep the leek and hit-up the local skateboard shop for a small griptape remnant.

I've found the retention on the Leek to be pretty strong. Is it possible the clip on yours is bent out of shape? If so, you might be able to bend it back to increase the retention.

The OP stated "pocket carry", so could we assume that he doesn't retain it via the clip at all, but rather just puts the knife all the way into his pocket?

If you can swing it I recommend a spyderco sage 1. The deep carry wire clip is very discreet. Very nice knife that is dressy enough for dress pants. I am also a big fan of the SAK cadet alox.

I know someone who carries a leatherman folder (who knew they made more than multitools?). It seems to work for him. I will vouch for the skyline. It's very light weight and doesn't weigh my pocket down. It's pretty slim and has a great blade.
