EDC for wife

Seems she likes the pointy, if she carries a BM Spike. If you're looking for something similar in size and blade shape, but not auto, you might want to look at an assisted opener, especially the Kershaw Leek. That's got a blade very close to the shape of the spike, and legal to carry. The Speedsafe mechanism is way cool, and Kershaw stands behind their products 100%. If you can get one, go for the Titanium handled Leek with the ZDP-189 steel. She'll never have to come to you to sharpen the blade, as that steel will hold an edge forever.

I'm lucky if my wife will remember her SAK classic on her keychain. Otherwise she's always handing me things to cut.

Duh! I guess I should read a little better... No Leek. Blue Bump??? Kershaw has some awesome Assisted Openers.

My wife EDC's a Buck Rush. Or a Camillus Heat. And sometimes the CS spike.
She likes the AO's.

My wife has a Kershaw Scallion. Similar to the Leek, obviously, but smaller and a bit more ergonomic.

She finally decided on a Leek after reading these posts. Thanks guys. She has lost 4 or 5 knives over the past few years. I'd rather replace a Leek every few years than one of my good autos.
Kudos
