Jakemex that is a beautiful and loved knife. You discharged just a year before I was born. That knife has been used longer then I have been alive and still looks great. Thank you for sharing. What kicked it out of your pocket originaly? I am just a bit curious. Thank you for sharing

Sorry for the bad quality picture. I got this peanut from a forum member a couple weeks ago. Since then it became my favorite little knife since. I use it from food prep and chores to using to try whittling for the first time a couple days ago. I'm going to try that again because it's not as good as i hoped and the peanut will be there to help. Thanks for the chance.

It has been in and out of my pocket now for sometime just because of it's sentimental value. I also have a small Schrade knife that my wife gave me in 2004 that I have got to carry too.

Bigfattyt, I am very impressed by your month old shaving sharp blade. One day I hope to get to that level of sharpening. I have never seen that sNm grand daddy before. I love that blade setup. My camillus boyscout knife has a clip secondary and it is my most used blade on that knife. Your grandpas knife looks like its pulled its weight over the years, thanks for sharing

Truth be told, it really needed a stropping! But it go the job done.

This one is in my pocket more than any other (it's with me today as well):

Bladeforums Traditional Forum knife, 2009, Queen/Schatt stag wharncliffe barlow in D2. If you asked someone "Hey, what's Alex's knife?" this is the one they'd describe.
This photo is from when it was new, but it has aged very gracefully.

Jakemex, I understand. I am the same way about one of my knives already. It gets some pocket time but usually on days I think it would be ok.

Bigfattyt, worked in a pinch. None of mine could handle that task as off today. My little 66 is close, I can pop a few hairs with it. Need more practice.

Very nice puukkoman. The blade setup is similar on the 2012 knife. Do you plan on trying that one out? Not sure on the size comparison between the two.

Seams like this thread has simmered down. Gonna close it Monday evening, get in while you can.

Thanks Rockgolfer!

I sent you a PM with my shipping address!

I am excited. I have been wanting both a stockman, and something with a punch for a while. This kills two birds with one stone. Best of all, I have not had any knife money all year!

(Lets just say it is a horrible thing to take a letter from Uncle Sam into the accountants office and hear him say "oops, now how did it miss that income.........and it is all from the same source, and on the same page!"). The accountant paid the penalties, but did not offer to refund the $400 per year I paid him to screw up the 3 years worth of taxes!!!!!

Savings account, Schmavings account! Who needs em! Right!

I will consider this my birthday present! (I spent my real B-day money from my parents and my in-laws on groceries, but don't tell my family that)!
