Any recommendations for my pocket gear or my truck gear:

Gear in my pocket or in my bag that is always on me:
Leatherman squirt
iTP A1 EOS flashlight
Paracord keychain
Ontario Utilitac II folder
Cell phone

Gear in my truck:
Leatherman Wave
100 foot of 550lb paracord
Maglite
Kabar utility fixed blade

I figure I at least need something to start a fire. Any other ideas would be awesome. Thanks.

I like to keep some tools and even some basic first aid supplies in the car. Also a compact umbrella comes in quite handy in my neck of the woods.

I agree with the first aid and tools in the truck. I also recommend work/mechanic gloves and a rain jacket or umbrella. Your pocket/bag carry seems to be covered pretty well. Maybe add another blade or two.

Budget? location?

A couple of 1 L water bottles, I prefer the platypus soft-bottles, as they store nice and small. lots of places to fill a water bottle in an urban environment, if you have one.
Neutral color bandanas. 12v cell charger or battery pack and cables.
Zip-ties. little ones are handy, as well as safety pins.

I just recently moved to PA. I am in the middle of applying for my licence to conceal, but I live in the outskirts of Philadelphia. It takes at minimum 45 business days for it to be approved. Kind of ridiculous since I have a huge background check for my job. I can't wait until I move back to the south!

Get yourself some real rope or at the least a tow strap in your truck, I can't argue paracord isn't useful but it's not going to help much other than tying stuff down.

In my truck I carry 100' of 5/8" nylon rope, a 30' tow strap and several lengths of chain.

I keep both 550 paracord (essentially its there if I need "rope") and other braided rope (about 1000 lb tensile strength) inside my truck. I want it strong enough that I easily support my weight and then some. I keep a few tie down straps inside my work vehicle along with bungee cords of various lenghts appropriate for my needs.
Umbrella----yes. I have a golfing type umbrella inside my work truck.
First aid kit always. Small one for trail or pack use and larger or midsize one for truck use.
Box of disposable nitrile gloves for whatever I might need to keep my hands clean with or protect them.
Gloves. Always have a pair with me on the trail. I picked that up from the survival shows. Very useful idea to protect your hands.
All the stuff you said....... vic sak and usually another knife, multitool inside my truck. Machete inside the truck all the time.
Backup battery powered charger for my phone in the truck.
Converter that plugs into my cig lighter for computer plug in.
Some sort of bag or pack that I can carry stuff if I need to walk a distance and carry EDC stuff away from vehicle such as in an emergency.
Tow strap for vehicle. Shovel. Couple bags of cat litter in the winter.
Rain gear. Tarp. Blanket.

Another good idea is a come-along, that way I can get myself out if I get stuck somewhere (never once happened). I have a 4 ton come-along and 3 snatch blocks.

I guess it depends where you are.

I live in mostly suburban city, and never found flashlights or fire sticks that useful. I have a maxpedition wallet filled with that stuff, but mostly I keep extra money in there.

Just want to make sure your only using the combat gauze as gauze and not relying on it to do any extra clotting (I see you also have the granular celox so your good there) but the amount of quickclot on the gauze is worthless. After the one time I needed it and was severely disappointed I never waisted money on it again. That stuff is just a way to get more money out of the Govt.

Another great clotting agent is visine eye drops, we have bottles of it in all out FAK's, stuff works as good as celox and it's easier to apply a liquid than the granular stuff sometimes, you can soak bandages in it and make your own "combat gauze" that actually works.

I'm a lot older than most of the posters here, so my key ring EDC probably won't apply to you for a couple of years.. but a brass whistle to summon help (I've broken one of the highly regarded plastic ones) a lithium AAA Fenix E05 light, a pill fob with a couple of aspirin in case of a heart attack, and a P38... most of the time a multi tool pouch is also carried with a LM, Streamlight single CR123,section of hacksaw blade, firesteel, needle, safety pins and petroleum gauze in a straw

I think your missing two must-have items on your person, a handkerchief and a good pen.

One tip I can offer is to buy a quality vehicle flashlight that can use lithium primaries, EG: CR123, or AA format are good choices...reason being they tolerate temperature extremes well and are largely unaffected by cold. Also, most have a 10 to 15 year shelf life and don't leak and destroy your light like alkalines.
