This may be the completely wrong place for this, but, I am looking for a good, keychain/EDC knife. Preferably $50 or under...any ideas? Thanks in advance. :)

I have a Benchmade Benchmite on my key chian. The "Levitator lock" makes sure it does not open in your pocket by accident. I have had a couple of pants recked because of a small sharp blade opening and either poking holes in them or cutting right threw  Just another option for you to consider. Best of luck in you EDC hunt.

Actually, this is exactly the right place for this question.

+1 on both the Ladybug and the Keycom.

Personally, I keep a Vic Classic on my keychain and a separate cutting blade in my pocket. For me, I find that I don't cut well with a keychain knife because I find the keys get in the way. YMMV (I use the Classic for the toothpick and the scissors.)

If you are looking for more affordable options, there's:
Byrd Starling
Small Victorinox SAK
SOG Micron
Kershaw Ace

The small-sized Victorinox knives would be great for keychain carry. In fact they come with a keyring loop. And they're very affordable, especially if you can find one you like on closeout. I just bought a silver alox "Classic SD" for $10. Similar-sized models are the Rally, Escort, Signature, Stylus, etc. Wenger has made some as well, the Esquire for example.

Check out the "Ultimate Pen Knife" from AG Russell. Very good quality, excellent materials, and bargain-priced.

Case also makes a small Pen Knife with a keyring loop and classic natural bone handles.

Happy shopping!

Where did you get a deal like that on that knife? I've been looking for an alox classic because I've cracked the scales on every Classic I've ever had on my keys (I run into things all the time).

The only one that's fared well is my glow in the dark Classic and the scales on it seem a little less brittle than the standard red scales.

you can get a little separator so you can disconnect the knife. works great

I'm with everybody else, Ladybug! I also carry a Vic classic but I never use the knife on it.

Fallkniven U2? It is more than $50, but has very good steel, very pocketable and light (1.5 oz).

Sierra Trading Post has offered many of the alox models on closeout recently. :)

If you are interested in a keychain multitool, the Leatherman Micra is a possiblility ($20-30)

My key chain and watch pocket knife, and the best one I've had yet a Victorinox Cadet II.
