EDC...how do you carry

Clipped folders (tip up) go into my RF pocket along the back seam. Clipless folders go into the LF pocket, held vertical along my wallet, or if I'm not carrying a wallet, loose. SAKs or similar hang into either pocket from a belt by dummy cord attached to their key rings with a quick release clip. Multi tools ride at 2 o'clock in a horizontal belt pouch, and there is always a Micra or Rambler attached to a micro light in the watch pocket. This works well with jeans, which I wear 95% of the time, and somewhat okay with other types of trousers.

I like to carry a larger knife, ie kershaw blackout before I lost it , and currently a kershaw s110v shallot. so IWB doesnt work for me, I tried it and it really hinders bending and I can tell the knife is there. im currently trying in the watch pocket and it seems t be doing ok. its a bit of a compromise, it hinders bending a tiny bit, but its not too bad. also I can still get into my right pocket and get stuff out of it, something that would not be possible if I carried it in the actual pocket. so far its working pretty good and its nice not having to worry about tearing up car seats, lay z boys etc..

Right front pocket as far back as it will go. Tip up or tip down, it matters not. :)

Since mine is so large and unclipped, it usually rests halfway down my thigh and leaves an unsightly bulge.

I carry the same as the OP, tip down, right rear pocket. I prefer slimmer knives, because they go right along the right edge of the pocket, so I don't sit on the knife.

i carry tip up in RFP, and tip up in LRP, but with the LRP i have the clip set up for RFP tip up, so the blade rests against the pocket seam.

Tip up RFP
Tip down LFP cross draw
Watch pocket-- Zing and Leek only

Backpack--front strap pouch, Tip down, or lefty Tip up.

Fixed, IWB, either 4:00 or 11:00

I carry the way I have for the past 15 years, and that would be; a large clipped folder, currently a ZT0500, in my right front pocket, with NOTHING else. I always carry a small folder, currently a Case Barlow razor, loose in my left front pocket along with any change I have. I have my keys on a carabiner hooked on my left side, and my phone in a horizontal case just in front of my rfp. One other thing I have done with my big edc's is to either buy ones that come with a deep carry clip, or make or have made a deep carry clip. Can't tolerate a knife with a handle that sticks out of my pocket advertising my knife!

I've never carried IWB, but I might just try it out soon. It's getting warmer here in FL and I won't be able to wear my jeans much longer. IWB might be a good solution with lighter material shorts.

I mostly carry my slips in my back left jean pocket. Occasionally in the watch pocket if I'm wearing my levi 501's and the knife is small enough.

I sometimes carry a mini grip in my back pocket, but getting my wallet out with out the knife hitting the floor is a pain. Mostly right front pocket. If I am at work with a gun on my hip I carry a waved endura in my left front pocket, but leave the clip set to right hand carry. This way when I yank it out it comes out in reverse grip so I can defend my gun if needed. If you got a waved folder try it.

Im curious to know how everybody carries their knives. I like mine in my back pocket, tip down body is in the pocket, clip is out. Its easy access and I cant even tell its there.but I have a bit of a problem. the GFs car has leather, there are times when I get in the knife has scraped it, thankfully I didnt mess it up, but its definitely possible. also when im sitting on leather furniture I worry about the knife scraping the leather. Ive tried carrying in my front pockets, but I dont like it. the knife either hinders bending or seriously gets in the way when I want to get something out of my pocket.

what do you guys think?? how do you carry? do you have the same problems? any suggestions?

Keep carrying it that way but put a sheepkin seat cover in the GF's car - you'll both be happy then

Forgot to Mention I keep non clipped folders (SAK mostly) in my back right pocket riding vertically next to my wallet.

I have to carry about 3 plus my leatherman. I usually have one small one in my watch pocket, and the other 2 in pockets with nothing else, I do not like keys or change and knife in same pocket. OK, yeah I got issues....

Best idea so far imo. The OP gets to keep carrying the way he likes, and who doesn't like sheepskin seat covers.....ok fine, best idea other than pirate style, which everyone knows, makes you an instant bad*ss. Better make it a strider for good measure. :D
