Very nice! I've this was about an inch bigger I'd jump on it! I've been wanting another one of your knives since I got my lil' profiler!

I too like a larger blade, but love the way that looks with the file marks still on it! Do you have a pic of it in your hand? I have a hard time judging scale. my hand is wide, I think that handles just under 4"?

great looking.

I know it's made of a Nicholson file, but out of curiosity does anybody know what steel a Nicholson file is made of? BTW, it's a very nice blade.

Many sources tell me most American made files are made of W1 or W2 tool steel, with a few being made of 1095.

Man I love the way that blade looks, I'm sitting here playing with a ruler and just think it'd be too small for me. but damn it's cool. I see you use files for all of the knives, may I ask, do you buy new files or you have some great luck finding stashes of used ones?

I need to buy some new when my stash runs low, but I like to barter/trade for most of them I get.

Looks damn sweet and very unique !
Quickly headed to your webpage and realy liking what im seeing, especialy the neck and belter knives.

only question poping to my mind, as i dont know anything realy about knife steels and these are made from files ?!
How does it hold up against "regular" knife steels ? or how is it compared to say: s30v and 1095 - softer, harder ?

He said most were W1 or W2 tool steel and some were 1095, take a look at this site, it should help point you in the right direction if you are looking for steel facts and comparisons
