Here is the second knife with my homemade steel.
The steel was smelted in the crucible and hand forged from the ingot to the shape. Ground and sanded to 600 grit and etched to show the pattern
The blade is 3-1/2" long, a pinch under 1" wide and ~ 3/16 thick at the bolster. Tapered to the tip. Estimated hardness is 56-58HRC.
My brand is engraved as I did not have the stamp at a time.
The bolster is my make mokume. Copper\brass.
The handle is wild apple with a bit of fiddleback on both sides. 4-1/4" long. Stabilized and polished with carnauba wax.
The sheath is hand made from 6-8Oz leather. Tooled a bit. Right carry belt loop. Treated with leather balm and carnauba wax.
I am asking $205 shipped CONUS via Insured Priority Mail. PayPal preferred.
Thank you.
