This place is becoming dangerous for my fiscal health, too many sources of temptation! Nothing fancy for me today, a rainbow Kershaw Leek (from kershawguy) clipped to the pocket, and a Victorinox Fieldmaster in a belt sheath.

I can't wait until the end of the month when my wife is giving me my 50th birthday gift: a rosewood John Lloyd shadow I picked up here on the forum.

That's the Cali 3.5 in super blue steel.It's carbon steel(non-stainless).What you are seeing is a patina on the blade.

It's close. I set the EP to 25 degrees and it came pretty close to a zero grind. I would say I'm about 5 degrees off. Must investigate

FYI, the factory angle is the highest the EP would go... so about 45 degrees from the main bevel.
