seriously this is way to nice for just $34ish

Offically made my Mnandi a user. I bought it to use on a daily basis and not baby to see how it holds up. When I got it the factory grind was off on one side making touch-ups on my Sharpmaker not possible. I marked it with black sharpie and found that it was steeper than 20 degrees per side. So, out came the Edge Pro for a reprofile down to 18 degrees per side. I did not put a mirror edge on it since I plan to use it. Took the reprofile to 600 grit only. From there I went through the sharpmaker stones at 20 degrees per side all the way to ultra fine. It is now so sharp that when I go to try and shave hair off my arm it digs right into the skin! Here's a couple of pictures. Kind of hard to get a good pic of the edge plus there is still sharpie remaining where I marked it for the final micro bevel check.

Looks real good to me.

congrats man...mine has been serving me well for the past few weeks now...my xhp military and manix 2 are feeling neglected

i know what you mean. on the right side of that picture is my manix2 BD30P that i was EDC'ing, this millie kicked it right out of my pocket.

xjzhx, thank you for your service. Wishing you the best of luck and a safe return home.
I head out to basic training on May 1st. Im excited, yet nervous, but in the end, Im happy and honored to serve my country any way I can. Stay safe, stay sharp man.

Thank you, brother. Good luck with Basic. Don't volunteer for sh!t and stay quiet. Best advice I can give.

i can't clip knives to my pocket in NYC, so most of my carry is done in pocket. i prefer tip down, right hand, but tip up isn't much of a problem. the 746 is looking better by the minute.

It could quite possibly knock the Para 2 out of your pocket. It's my first Benchmade. Just imagine that tall swedge wasn't there, it would almost be the exact same blade shape as a Para 2. The ergonomics on this 746 are way better than the Para 2, in my opinion. I'm pretty sure you would agree. My only gripe is no jimping on the blade/scales for thumb control, but it doesn't really need it. Just a preference for me.

The Mighty Moose! Gave it the spa treatment this morning. Leave it to Case to take something as uninspiring as G-10 and turn it into a thing of beauty.

I too have been carrying my new Shot Show Mini Onslought and it is so much better than I expected.
BM has outdone themselves because the F+F on this knife is beyond any other BM I've owned.
Grinds are even and seriously sharp, axis-lock is a dream to open and close, the blade is nice and thin for slicing, and the CF has a brilliant polished look.
I miss my choil and maybe some jimping on the spine, but other than that it's perfect.

Carrying my 0550 and tiny EMC SAK for utility.
