I've been carrying the Kershaw all week and loving it. Heading into the trails later today so I'll break out the Recon for anything that comes up that the Nerve can't handle. Always always carry the peanut.

I've noticed some wear but its still shaving, far from popping hair like it was this morning though

Going out for a nice Japanese dinner tonight. So I figured I'd stay with the theme. Now to wear my Casio or Miyota watch?

WOW! I really love that blade! What knife is that?

It's an Enlan EL-02. Chinese made knife with Micarta handles, axis lock, 8cr13mov steel and dual steel liners. Ambidextrous thumbstuds as well.
It's one of my larger folders (3.46" blade length, total opened length of 8.26") at the moment and in my humble opinion, hard to beat at that price range. I've got quite some knives with 8cr13mov steel and that's pretty much because I dig it. It gets crazy sharp, is fairly rust resistant (but then again, I never had any knife rust in my drawers nor outdoors because I take care of them), holds a working edge relatively well AND is very easy to sharpen. My personal favourite steel after VG-10. Personally, I dig it more than, f.e. s30v because ease of sharpening is more important than edge holding to me.
The knife is quite heavy thoug, comes in at about 145 grams (5.11 oz).

The micarta feels really good, the axis lock is quite stiff out of the box and needs some time to loosen up (one week or so of playing with the knife). As I said, for my needs the steel performs very well and the weight makes it a good garden/outdoor knife. Cuts up steak like it's nothing, as well.

Added the lanyard myself though. You can find the knife online, somewhere between 12 and 20 dollars (which is a real bargain for what you get).

There is another version with G10 scales and a stonewashed blade (EL-02B).

Look up some info on the web, be persuaded and get one. You won't regret it at all.
