Spendy pocket jewelry knives have their own appeal, but for me nothing beats a user like this one.

Well, the Viper is a user for me. The fact that it looks good is of course a part of the appeal but I would not never endorse a knife just because of that. I like that it is relatively thin for a folder with 4" blade and sort of disappears in the pocket. Lockup is solid, I can flick it open with ease. And the blade holds an edge relatively well. I'm not an expert on these matters by any standards, but after cutting cardboard for about 20 minutes it still sliced printer paper effortlessly. The locking system is a bit funky but that is the only negative I can think of.

This one has skyrocketed to the Top of my EDC list!

When I first saw this blade profile, I thought "I will never own that ugly thing!"

But the more I look at it and use it, it is pure B E A U T Full!

This is a knife I want. Love the blade and I definately want the inserts. Would really like to see it with some wood inserts and the satin polish.

As for me, nothing's changed. Still carrying my 275BKSN Adamas.

Woah, I just looked 'em up and those Viper's cost a LOT less than I was expecting. I am definitely getting one.

I went on a hike on the Appalachian trail for a couple of hours with my wife today. I had my Gayle Bradley on me.

Just to be clear, I wasn't referring to your Viper when I mentioned spendy pocket jewelry. No disrespect intended for such a fine piece of knife.

I have plenty of the spendy stuff. I just find myself more attracted to users and beaters than titanium and supersteel. Its a mental defect, no doubt.

Aint changed much since I got it I love this knife but thinking of gettin paramilitary 2 to add to the Edc rotation and I have yet to own a Spyderco

Para 2 in Digi-Cam/Satin blade... Totally smitten with this thing. Hasn't left my pocket for almost a week now.

my first bali

A lot of love for that adams, i might have to try it out

I love mine but I like the bigger Edc carry it has done everything iv asked it to with no problems and the d2 isn't as hard to sharpen as I thought it would be it will take a scary edge

Is that the cara cara2? Just ordered one and was wondering hows the quality on it. were there any blade play?

thanks
There is a little bit of vertical blade play - nothing scart - but the quality of liners is very poor - unknown "stainless" steel with crapy finish but the knife is cheap so is not so big problem...
