Rock solid, no play, hub works as a thumbstud, and deploys every single time.
The Adamas is a perfect knife for the ziptie mod, because the spine angles upwards, which means the tail of the ziptie comes off at a forward angle, not just straight up like most knives.
Give it a try sometime, worst thing that can happen is you won't like it and you're out like 2 cents

My guess is he had some work done to it. Odds are it use to look like all the other 0550's.

Love this combo! I am surprised to see that the Basic 4 is nearly the same size as the Insignio.
For Recon, the FB is a Busse Basic 4.

That choil sure kicks up a notch the visuals of that 0550...and the angle of the shot and edge makes that blade look even sexier- sharp and slender. Really liking it.

The Basic 4 is a great knife. Really love how it feels in the hand and the blended zero edge is a slicer. Actual measurements are Busse: Overall Length: 9.125 Insingo: Overall Length: 8.335".

After some yardwork I was playing around with the firestarting capabilities of fir resin I had freshly scraped of a few of the trees in my back yard.
Well, it catches fire ridiculously quick and it continues burning for a long while.
