Grey FFG endura 4, sbj chestnut and cv, and a swiss classic on the keys
I also carry the same set up alteast a few days out of the week. It seems to meet all the needs of a day and scratch all my knife itches.

Sorry for getting OT here, but I don´t want to open an extra thread in the Spyderco-forum. I have pretty stupid question on Spyderco knives - why do some of you guys put a cablebinder (I don´t know the english word, sorry) on the spyderhole? Is it for better onehand opening? Just like having somethink like a thumbstub on them?

Kind regards

We call them zip-ties.

They're use to 'wave' the knife open as you draw it from your pocket.

EDIT: The zip tie catches your pocket as you draw it and snaps the blade to the open position, so all you have to do to open it, is pull it from your pocket.

Hi sh00ter!

Thank you for that info... I think it´s a good way and it will work for sure... I gonna try it out on one of my Spydies :)

Now I have learned another word in english :D

Kind regards

Yeah the cigarette ads are really colorful and no warnings are attached, just a small ad within the ad pushing buying war bonds. I have three of these magazines with all 3 being published during the war years. The stories and photo's and ads are really neat to read and look at!

The light is a 4Sevens Preon 1. Puts out 70 Lumens on high. It goes with me everyday.
