I live in NYC now, and the Police are confiscating pocket clip knives if they notice.
BUMMER.
As a result, I'm going the gentleman's route and carry a beautiful Katz mixed MOP 2" lock back.
Also always carry a Wenger, or Victorionox money clip with blade, nail file, and scissors.

Spyderco Caly 3 CF today. Thought I'd try something else after carrying the small sebenza every day for over a month. Felt a bit unnatural to leave the sebenza at home.

How do you like the caly? i ordered one but not sure about it.

I had some fun with an Opinel n°7 the last couple of days.
I forced an uneven patina on it using a potate and I resharpened the edge for a nice contrast. I sanded the handle and gave it a more faint color using coffee. Last but not least, I added the bronze pins for aesthetics.
I finished it up today, and am finally able to carry it around.

I don't know yet if I'm perfectly happy with it. I like the different colouration of the blade, but I might make the patina more even. As for the handle, I might make it darker eventually.

How do you like the caly? i ordered one but not sure about it.

I like it. I haven't used it extensively though (yet), although I've had it for a year. The thing is, it came super sharp, so I used it as a reference edge until I learned how to get my other knives as sharp or sharper. It's very smooth (after an initial cleaning, came very gritty from the factory). Way smoother than my Delica. Fit and finish is great, except for the radial scratches on the tang, which were there from the factory, but it's not a big deal. It carries deep and fits in the watch pocket on my jeans. It's a great knife. Classy looking too.
