Well here is yesterday's workout, finally got my bean stakes notched and then ran out of twine 3/4 of the way done. :)

Stakes were a mix of red oak and what I think is maple. The little owl zipped right through them and was still sharp on the other end. Now I can look forward to some wonderful hillbilly fare, fresh half runner beans. Add some mashed potatoes and some fried venison and you've got a sunday dinner with some real flavor.

I envy you here, fine dish but I haven't been able to do anything in my veggie patch this year due to swollen kneed I've had for weeks. Digging impossible, walking not easy either.:thumbdn:

Today a Hampton Teardrop was used to prune back an unruly Clematis and dead head it. Not edible but pretty to look at.:D

We decided to make salsa instead of gazpacho. The Case pen admirably handled the first step: prepping green onions, garlic, green bell pepper, and roma tomatoes.

Next step, getting ready to slice avocado and jalapeños.

Ah man, I hate that for you Will.

I can honestly tell you that setting the table up with beans and whatnot from the garden and deer that I went out in the woods and brought home is one of my favorite pleasures. It just strikes a chord in me. I hope your knee problems disappear and you can get out and about soon.

Funny thing, when I was a kid I would do about anything to avoid gardening. I usually talked the old man into allowing me to cut and split the firewood for the year in lieu of having to sweat it out in the garden. Now I do it on my own and look forward to it. Funny how that kind of thing happens.

I spent some time with the Wicked Edge on my ZT 0550 last night so I ran out behind my office a few moments ago to take these pictures to show her off. This is such a fine knife and my edge came out pretty nicely too if I say so myself :D

I see what the bottom knife is, but what is that one on the top??? it looks sick and it should be more popular!!!

It is the Mercworx Lachesis. Bad picture quality, I took it with my phone, but you can faintly see it under the giant MW on the blade. Glad you like, I feel like I'm the only one that does haha.

Gerber has a few Hinderer designs:
Gerber Torch I
Gerber Torch II
Gerber Rescue
Gerber CLS
Gerber Firestorm

And I think that's it.

I prefer my ZT/Hinderer 0560. =]
