Benchmade 943 Osborne, satin plain edge blade.... Got it in the mail today, so excited!! Love this thing. Pics eventually.

I've gotten my bullets back again, but they never look this good. How did you do it so perfectly?

Lol, I went thorugh a long process of testing defensive ammunition a good while back. We created a water trap, and shot all sorts of different brands through all sorts of different firearms through all sorts of different medium. The 2 Gold Dots pictured here, One went through several layers of denim, and sweatshirt material then sand and the other was fired cleanly into the water. The Talon also was fired cleanly and I think the Golden Sabre when through a layer of denim and sweatshirt.

Been a LOOONg time ago now, but I still carry and trust gold dots, they were remarkably superior, especially in .45ACP. Silvertips hydroshoks and PMC starfires were consistantly the worst, as in might as well have been FMJ's. Not very scientific I know but I dont trust ballistic penetration reports anyway, to many inconsistancies even in calibrated gelatin. And, of course, last time I checked the human body (forgive the morbid subject) is not calibrated, nor gelatin. Also its full of bones organs tendons and almost always covered in clothing.

The water trap was great for recovery.

(Sorry for the long winded response :D:D:o)

Still these

After a hard day of training and working, now I'm relaxing a bit at home and getting everything ready for tomorrow. This little guy is helping me out:

I am not sure if this is what he has done ,but If you fire the into a container of water they will mushroom like that,I have done it myself before.Needs to be a container with the size enough to stop the bullet of course,I used an old garbage can when I did it

This thread is blowing up like a balloon with a grenade in it. As well I'm edcing my zt0200 and 0350st. Soon ill be adding my 0121 to that

I had a lack of new pictures.
I changed that! I had to fix the edge today. I was using it to cut down some saplings that were blocking a walk path. While doing so, some rolled-up rusty fence was intertwined. The blade found it before me. :(
Proving to be a much better knife with loc-tite (:D)
