Ive been going pretty light the last few weeks. Partly because ive been spending most of my time in class or the library, and partly because the ladybug can get some serious cutting done despite its size.

The pics above are a lot more appetizing than my knife's workout today. Cut quite a bit of fiberglass tape to seal up an exhaust system.... nothing too exciting but it was nice to have a sharp knife to use considering the abysmal shape of the blade on my labmate's multi-tool. :)

Lost the Vic Soldier in the background at work last week..Brought all the BMs to sharpen/clean since I am by myself tonight...

My knife was involved in action that will, I hope, lead to a tasty outcome.

GEC 73 Liner Lock in Sambar (a favourite, pantheon knife...) cut up some tough lengths of twine to tie in a very ferocious Blackberry/Bramble. The thorns on this are fearsome  and it is quite a rare fruit here in Finland. I look forward to harvesting and making a Blackberry&Apple pie in late September. The Liner Lock 73 is a very sharp, safe and pleasant knife for garden tasks.

Hi everybody. What do you think about this knife. Never had a chance to try it. But want to buy for my wife. She can not deal with Eros I presented her recently - framelock and nails are not friends. I believe that Back-lock on Persian 2 will b emuch better. And I like FFG and blade shape

It's great knife. Very solid construction to it and carries well (flat). Only "bad" thing I find about it is that adjusting the pivot doesn't do much, so you can't make it very loose. The upside in that is that it makes the blade very bladeplay proof and lock up good. I guess I'm oldschool because I like the backlock, just feels good and solid and is easy to disengage (and you can carry the knife without clip).
Also the curved tip makes the knife superb slicer, but doesn't offer that good tip control (like opening nasty thick plastic packages for electronics etc).
