JTR - The ergos are pretty great actually, when you consider the coffin-shaped handle. I like how it carries, nice and thin, but still comfortable to hold in the hand. I probably wouldn't use this blade as a "hard use" knife, especially with the thin tip, so any day-to-day task that does not require a death grip should not strain your hand too much. I like the wharncliffe blade because it is such a good slicer, so great for my around-the-house needs (food prep for example)
I have seen others who round-out the bottom corners to give it a better feel in hand, but I think it fits just fine! I had one of these a few months ago, had to sell it and couldn't wait until I could pick up another one. Just found this one here on the forum last week and it came today in the mail, so I am pleased to have a Chokwe again. I would recommend it, especially if you find one for a great price!
