You know, "they" - whoever they are - say it compares favorably with VG-10. But I just got this knife, and am not a hard user or steel aficionado anyway, so I honestly don't know the difference as long as a steel holds an edge for a while and is not impossible to sharpen. But I honestly have never received a sharper knife straight out of the box.
 
Kershaw Cryo.

I'd like to see this one with G10 scales and S30V. Put it in the ZT line and sell it for $75 - $100.

I'd like to see it just the way it is, but with a really strong ball detent and no assist. That would make it a great manual flipper.

Oh, maybe 154CM :P

I just gave the 530 a quick spin on the wheels tonight; she's a fair bit sharper now... :D
 
It is pretty much always my BM 800M2HSS (for almost 10 years now) or my Al Mar SERE 2000. I do want to fin a plain edge version of my AFCK, and I am going to get a ZT 0561. It may wind up replacing both of them.

Lightening the load. SAK instead of a Leatherman wave (still readily available in my bag). Nice to have some free pocket space.

Really like my new ZDP-189 CF Caly 3. I've carried it about a week now. Much preferred over the Natives that have come and gone. The size and ergos are just right.

These other three are the ones the Caly bumped at least for the moment.
