Thanks brother!
Tiwaz rune intentional on your part or the black smiths trademark? looks fantastic!

I don't understand the "Tiwaz rune" but if you refer to the arrow, I don't know why it has it, but I don't really care. I will take a closeup of the makers logo for you, or check your pm, will forward you his link. Thanks for the kind words, it is a more primative look that I like.

Brother who made that blade? Stu? steel-52100/O1? How are you finding your Para???? awesome little blade- I got my first a while back, what have I been missing- loving the blades Bro.

Cheers,
Guy

Jip. Stu made that one! Contacted him after I saw some of his 'in the works' pictures. Steel is Saben Silver, similar to 52100. It took a beating today, my hand slipped while helping my dad build a new braai/bbq and it it the clay brick. Minor damage to the edge that will sharpen out with use.

The Para is my current favourite production knife, excluding high end production. The cost to performance is great and it feels solid. Way more then I expected. Of course, after the holiday I will post a full review. Need to use these and a few others before I post a longish term review again.

Ps. Going to do some grinding down in Gordons Bay with Gareth. Plenty of pictures to come! At thw airport now.

That is going to be one sweet hot chocolate milk. My edc is in the picture as well.

Funny cuz it's true: the captcha I had to fill in at TinyPic for uploading was 'mouth watering'.
As if they knew I was preparing this delicious drink.

Today is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated and best value EDC knives on the market. It was also my 'gateway drug' into the world of knife addiction.

I give you the Kershaw Storm!

Tiwaz is a Nordic rune associated with the Norse god Tyr, I requested that Rune on the crossguard of a sword I had custom made (Tyr represented smiths and edged tools also). My family herald from Norway and I enjoy seeing old traditions still in action among smiths.

Aah! Learned something new! Will give the maker a call and ask him. Thanks for the great traditional info!
