A fixit day today. Cut a slice of epoxy putty from the stick so I could mix it. Opened some bubble packs containing some brass screws and such. Sheepsfoot blades are perfect for that sort of work. There is a reason I don't use my pocket knives for food. I use them for everything else.

This Queen Woodsman is one I used today.

Thanks! It just got its first taste of fruit tonight. Part of why I wanted to the Super Blue model so bad, is the patinas it takes are just as gorgeous. I love it so far.
 
Other than cutting me twice in the last two days, my peanut was also used this evening to slice open several packages while I prepared dinner tonight: plastic sleeve containing three bell peppers, and another containing angel hair pasta for the main course; along with a bag of pecan halves and refrigerated pie crusts for two bourbon pecan pies I made for the neighbors who tended our place while we were away last weekend.

Nothing very strenuous, but sure made for some tasty treats.
