It is but don't know I'd want to sharpen it.
This one hasn't needed it yet, but I have sharpened the one that I got for my dad. It's a chisel point VG-10 and actually sharpen's fairly easy with the Lansky system. The long tanto edges are fairly easy with the Lansky. I WAS worried about marring the carbon fiber that's bonded to the blade, but I used a small cloth in the clamp.

Tip was snapped off by prying (not by me) but it's still a great user after being doctored up :thumbup:
