Is that an EDC6 or and EDC10? If it is the EDC10 I have one just like it and I think it is great EDC blade. I really like the deep carry clip. Also, the WH button lock is just terrific. Great knife for anyone's collection.

BTW, I carried my BM 940 today and my WH B10 Lancet tonight.

Celebrating 3 years with my beautiful girlfriend tonight! Gotta have the best tonight.

I'm trying out the RAT Model 1, I heard that it wasn't very good but I liked the way it looked. Also got my new Spyderco Bug on my keys.

It is an E10 and I also think it's fantastic.

Spyderco Native FRN

some Russian made knife my Dad gave me which I have no idea what to call other than a stainless steel recurve fixed blade.

Years ago, when I used to write knife reviews for magazines, the first thing I did with most of the knives I got sent by manufacturers and retailers, was (rather than trying to cut car doors in half) put them in the kitchen for a couple of weeks. These days, I rarely use any of my folders in my OWN kitchen, (I use my nice Wostenholm kitchen knives :)), I only have to do that when I’m travelling or camping - or visiting my sister! However, before Christmas, Pete (Stich2442) very kindly sent me this really nice Peanut, which finally arrived this week. It’s my first Peanut, and I want to try and carry it every day for a while, but I’ve been stuck working today and unable to get out of the house. So I thought I’d use the Peanut to help me make some soup. It might have been a little quicker to use a bigger knife for the larger vegetables, but the Peanut worked well enough, and with the edge Pete had put on it, what a slicer. If Pauli in Goodefellas had owned a Peanut, maybe he wouldn’t have needed to use a razor-blade for his garlic! Thanks again Pete, I’m enjoying the Peanut – and my soup! ;)

I did try and take a final pic with the Peanut balanced on the edge of the soup bowl, but as I only thought of this after pouring the soup into a narrow rimmed bowl, the Peanut ended up IN the soup! Tasty! :D And I guess we can all do with a little extra iron in our diets ;)

Your post put a smile on my face, I ended up going through this whole thread and found a pic of my daughter on page 5 that also made my day, thanks pal, and I'm happy it went to a good home as a ex Chef and growing up in a Sicilian family food is something that is important part of life and shared.

Here is a thread with that Kabar in my kitchen working, pre patina

Thanks for the link Pete, I'm going to have to go through the whole thread, you put some great pics on there, wish I had your photography skills :)

Food's really important to me too, some of my Italian and Spanish/Catalan friends won't even believe I'm English! :D
