Are they plastic also known as "teflon"? If so thats still fine. Hinderer uses plastic bushings and I find them to be smooth, they do wear out but it would take a damn long time to.
Yeah they are teflon. I've just grown accustomed to brass washers in high quality knives such as strider, CRK, ZT, even Benchmade uses em. I'm sure the brass is better in the long run. As for the sticky lockbar it's still a joke but I've put some pencil on it and I can actually use one hand to close it now... Thank god lol. I'm waiting to get my hinderer in his next batch. It's nice having the ability to buy directly from him![]()
I believe you're thinking of bronze washers. That's what most knife companies use (Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade etc.)
Did some more Heat anodizing to the Chokwe. It's what I'm carrying today.
