Spyderco Gayle Bradley, while I'm at work. After work, probably my ZT 200 and a Kershaw Crown for smaller tasks.

Today I'm carrying the brothers...

Have not been able to get the sage 2 out of my pocket since I got it.

After having this xm18 for a few months I'm realizing this is all I want to use and carry. Same with the Delica!

Why did they stop producing the 0780? I know it had some issues, but why didn't they just fix the issues and keep producing it? I love that knife.

It seems like the idea was simply a business choice. I believe they promised the 0780 to dealers during the prototype stages, then probably realized they had to prioritize their production with other knives because at the time the 0560 was selling faster than they could make them. Under my speculation, the 0780 was rushed out... note the lack of Kershaw branding on clip and a lot of 0780s were experiencing quality issues (though, I'd like to add mine is 100% perfect). A lot of people who returned their knives to get fixed under warranty were given the option of getting an entirely different knife; I believe a lot of people got a 0350 in exchange. They probably wish they never did release the 0780 and wish they could forget about it, but possibly were somewhat obligated to because dealers were offering preorders. (Remember, these are mostly just my theories, please don't take them as fact, but I think they're probably more true than anything)

In all honestly, fundamentally its a SUPERB knife, although the "extra 10%" i've experienced with other ZT's seems to be missing somehow. It feels like it's a prototype or something... It's hard to explain. I hope they attempt a "Super Skyline" again in the future...

By the way.... nice alien. ;)
