since i started collecting knives i have owned a wide variety of nice mid techs. crk, strider, hinderer, micro tech, LE spyderco, emerson, zt, BM gold series and im sure i am missing quite a few. but long story short this knife i picked up at the ECCKS on friday and i have never been so happy with a knife. for the first time when someone says "smooth" or "like glass" about the action of the blade opening and closing i would simply ask them to try this knife out. it has done nothing but impress me since i bought it.

if anyone has had an experience with a knife like this in the past please let me know because these are the knives i continue to seek out

Whoa, LOVE those! How do you like the boker?

Extremely surprised at the level of fit and finish, very impressive. Only gripe is the plastic backspacer and AUS8 steel. I would have gladly paid the extra $$ for G10 backspacer and VG10 (or any premium steel, but VG10 would be the logical step up.) The design (by Lucas Burnley) is one of my favorite designs I've seen.

Sorry for the ignorance, but what is the other knife in the photo? It has a lovely minimalist look to it.

Used my GEC #47 (in nifebrite) to cut about 100' worth of carpet,as well as stripping wire, opening packages, removing staple from old wood paneling, and cutting cardboard. Just touched it back up on the slotted paper wheel, back to shaving sharp. Love this little blade!

Early 1980s Imperial Barlow in RFP, Buck Maxlite (small) in LFP - Everyday, all day. When working on any moving machinery, a Ka-Bar fixed on each hip.

Used my newest Case Peanut to cut the plastic shrink wrap off a case of canned cat food, cut an elastic cord off a tag, and cut the plastic seal off the cork of some Elijah Craig bourbon.

The cats and I all appreciated the valiant efforts of the tiny blade.

Fine work (especially the Elijah Craig part). When I got home I used the pen blade of my 6292 jack to slice open the plastic wrap on the cd I bought at a concert tonight.

What I had on me today, there is the ever present 1950s/1960s Imperial Kamp-King that is on my keys all the time. Then this morning at work was a beat up GI Surplus Camillus TL-29 Electrician's Knife. In the afternoon/early evening was a 1960s era Case Jack Knife, that took over for the TL-29.

I built a quick and crude popcan "stove" with the zt0100 to make some extra heat as it was pretty cool last night; approximately -10 plus windchill... It's surprising how much heat this can puts out!
