Thanks Skwurll and A.P.F. for the reply.I was thinking that knife would be a nice alternative to a BM griptillian

Light duty so far today, as I have mostly been in meetings. I did use the pen blade to scrape pine sap off my van's windows (one of the not-so-pleasant fringe benefits of living on a piece of property covered with trees). Also pressed it into duty to remove foil seals from windshield washer solution and motor oil as I prepare to do a bit of maintenance to my wife's car.

I really like the old Schrade Heritage knives. That's a pretty one.

Finnnaaalllyyyy! Something new! It's been almost a month without a new knife, that's a record for me.

This one helped out admirably with some carpentry work, building a cabinet to house my water softener system. It made all of the scores for sawing, and cleaned up the chaffes from where the block plane skipped. One hand open and close traditional knives are mighty handy...

I agree, the Peanut makes a nice pointer! I am an anatomy instructor, and I have to say, it's much more fun giving exams than it was taking them!

Hahaha I can imagine! I have a practical on the musculature of the cat next Wednesday including origins, insertions, and functions. I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend.

 My inexpensive Schrade lockback was able to help me cut through the midrib of a coconut palm frond that was blocking my parking space in the local medical clinic. So, not all bushcraft skills are used in the wild - my "whiteman's machete" was able to do the job without too much fuss and with a less than 3 inch blade. It works.
