Its a Professional Series II TFO and the reel is actually a white river 270 (I think its bass pro's house brand). I walked in to the shop knowing literally nothing other than that I wanted to learn and that I had a few hundred bucks in my new toy budget (I'd been saving for a Busse, but I figured this would get more summer use and I'll save the Busse for my next bigger toy purchase). TFO has that amazing unconditional no questions asked warranty which instantly sold me and the reel was a recommendation of the guy in the fly shop and seemed pretty good for the price- at least for a starter like me. I think they all pair up nice with my CRK and if it would ever warm up here I'll take them all out together and see how they perform.
TFO are the best bang for your buck$ rods IMO. You can't beat the warranty. That reel looks identical to my Ross CLA that I have. I am partial to Ross reels (made here in CO). They have a great warranty as well. Get that flyline wet! Luckily we have a lot of rivers that are tailwaters that are open and ice free year round for awesome fly fishing for trout.....
