Solid lock-up and liner engagement. Krupps 4116 doesn't hold much of an edge, but takes one fairly easy.. But you don't need a razor sharp edge in a stuby.. :D

He's a cool guy too, I have one on order and he told me it would be about six months. Pretty sure he'll put you on the list and let you pay later as well.
 
I snapped a quick cell phone pic of some work that my traditionals have been along for. Lots of fence to tear down repair. I had my opinel and traditional hatchet along. The hatchet saw a lot of hammering action while the opinel cut my cold cut sub :-p
