I just love standing in front of the fridge and thinking what could be done with the (usually) few things in there. Somehow I had the crazy idea to try making puff pastry. For a first try it worked out rather well, turns out to be pretty easy, just takes way too long...
Chopped some fresh herbs and garlic to marinate a chicken breast
Wrap it in bacon
Preparing stuffing for an apple strudel
Turned out to be a huge mess, should have refrigerated the dough a bit more
Both things wrapped in 432 layer puff pastry. Next time I have to try pattern welding this stuff, maybe a nice raindrop pattern
Fresh from the oven, nice and juicy
And dessert, yummy
