Im sorry that things are the way they are; I wish I could change things for the better. Im doing what I can. We have paid for this war down here in blood. I have dual citizenship and pay taxes over there as well if that helps. So Im kind of paying myself at times.
I think your words were a bit mean spirited. I dont get why you send me a friend request then be little what I do for a living. I apologize if I have in any way offended you or if I you feel that I have let you down in some way.
I post here because I know that you guys can appreciate a fellow knife lover that uses sharp things out there at work. I come here to look at what you guys do as well and learn. I think I might have been mistaken.

Although I've been around here for a long time I don't often post, but I felt like I wanted to say that I always enjoy seeing your pictures and reading your posts, which provide some interest in my generally mundane life.
I am making an assumption here but what I find interesting and I think some people dont realise from your EDC post is if you really are in the thick of it you find a high quality tool that does the job, learn how it works until you know it inside out, and stick with it. Constantly cycling through $1,000's of equipment leaves you with a different equipment set up every day that when it comes down to using it under pressure could cost the few critical seconds.

I think we should remove all drug enforcement and just let the cartels run rampant through the streets.(sarcasm)
Edwood never has a negative word to say toward anyone and I think it's absurd for someone to give him flack when he is putting his life on the line everyday in order to save lives. It's not just some mindless, without danger, unimportant prohibition that Ed is dealing with. A lot of the pictures posted of busts contain large weapons caches that have included 40mm grenades. Cartel hit squads work both sides of the border and use military tactics to kill targets of high value and low value. If we didn't have people like Ed working their asses off and throwing themselves in the line of fire for the rest of us, it's safe to say that the situation would be far worse than it already is.
I think we should all be happy that Ed spends some of what little free time he probably has, sharing some of his stories, insights, and photos with the rest of us.
You, Griffin Hawks, may be board with Ed's pictures of his EDC(in an EDC thread, mind you), but I am board with the constant buzz from people who feel the need to point out the obvious by constantly complaining about the national debt. Find something new to complain about and this time post it in a thread other than one reserved for discussion of a person's daily carry knife.

There's a menu selection at the top right hand of your browser. It's says "log off". All you have to do is click it and then refrain from ever logging back on. Pretty simple stuff.
No one's forcing you to look at pictures of knives and/or guns.
Here's a thought: Start your own forum. That way, you can forbid pictures of knives and guns and trucks and stuff.

Edwood7 dont let one guy drag you down. I enjoy your posts especially you stories that at times you have posted. I also appreciate you putting your own life on the line for others. Watched the movie Blitz last night. Made me think about the crazy people out there. Anyway its good to know there are people out there counteracting the madness.

Ed, you NEVER have to apologize for ANYTHING.. As a former NYC police officer i have some idea of what you have been through..You are part of the reason i log on BF just to see your daily loadout or what new toy you have acquired... You do a pretty much thankless job that (no offense people) most here cannot comprehend..Most people run from the danger and you run towards it..
