Yeah, it's tough to compare. I enjoy them both immensely. It depends on what I'm wearing and what I'm doing. If I'm in a situation where it doesn't matter which one, I'll take the Southard just because of the increased cutting real estate. And I find the steels, XHP on the Techno and 204P on the Southard to be fairly similar with edge retention. Both great knives and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to grab either one when heading out the door.

Appreciate the insight. I EDC the Techno like you, and was curious on your take of the Southard. Been on the fence about grabbing one.
 
Today saw a Hammer Brand 4-bladed Canoe in my left front pocket, a Victorinox, wood scaled (walnut), Deluxe Tinker in my fanny pack, and my newest, a ZT0600 in my right front.
 
I got a little tired of having to pull my knife out of my pocket in order to reach my car keys (the ZT 0550 is a monster knife), so today I'm carrying the Spyderco Centofante Memory. Very slim and light. Pretty, too!
