EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

An old Utica electrician's knife that a great uncle left me. The edge still needs some work, but its a lot better than it was a week ago.

I was debating picking one up as well, beautiful knife! Love the blade style, I would imagine that it makes for a great slicer. My knife fund was hit pretty hard by a recent military attack lol, report back after some use!

I tried talking myself out of it, too. I failed. Including shipping for both, the knife + lanyard ran me about $200CAN. If I could go back and change my purchase decision, I wouldn't. It feels simply *sublime*.
The blade isn't entirely flush with the lock and the spinal grind is uneven, if you want me to convince you not to get one. Doesn't bother me, though. If I find any performance related issues with this knife (I doubt I will), I know Spyderco will hook me up.

Thanks, P. A lot of people report that it's an excellent food prep knife. I've done some paper slicing with it, which it excels at. Despite its good looks, this knife was clearly meant to be used, as per Mr. Glesser's original purpose for the Calypso as an EDC blade he designed for himself. I'll report back after I've put it through its paces; I've got lots of folders in my rotation (and will even be adding some more Spydies) so it could take a while.
