Thanks a lot :) It was just the thing to make one of my favorite carry knives more "mine".

I definitely know what you mean about not looking overly pimpified. That's my whole goal and what I feel will be my niche. I can do the toxic green liners with "Anso" or "reptilian" patterns and that kind of stuff, and there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm more about clean and simple improvements. I like to do stuff that makes a knife look custom, rather than pimped. Or even things that look totally factory, but in a different material/color. I'm more likely to do simple smooth contoured G10 or CF scales with maybe a bolster or a nice matching backspaced or something and I focus more on fit and finish than crazy patterns and such. Not that I won't do just about anything, though.

I carried this flipper modded Boker Kwaiken today, and had a chance to use it when a box of a bunch of G10 and a little carbon fiber and micarta arrived. I'm trying to come up with something special to do for some scales for the Kwaiken.



 
Spyderco Dragonfly H1 for some snorkeling time at the springs. P.s. stop calling me brother. :)
