It's doing good. No play, super smooth, but I don't really work my knives that hard, just basic cutting tasks. The most abusive thing this knife is been through is swimming in saltwater for 2-3 hours.

i'd say swimming in saltwater is a good but different kind of test. that saltwater can wreak havoc on a knife and the fact that it came out of it smooth is a good sign.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome of a knife. The M4 is also pretty amazing. Though after I dried the knife off it was gritty as hell, but nothing a little oil can't fix.

This oil is magical BTW. (Quick Release)

DPX Hest and SAK One Hand Trekker on my hike this morning, then went back to the Dragonfly for the rest of the day.

CPM-M4 in salt water!!!??? Are you nuts?

is rust the worst thing that can happen to the knife?

No, it doesn't really effect the knife that much. (Unless the rust is very deep)

The worst thing is probably lock failure onto your fingers.

so possible lock failure from the salt water. does that go more for the axis lock or basically any knife lock?

No, that's not what I meant.

I meant lock failure for any reason is the worst thing that can happen to a knife.

It could though if it's in saltwater for a long time. Rust could eat away at the omega spring, and that could cause failure. But I imagine that requires A LOT of rust.

That knife is awesome. Whos the maker?

Beautiful knife, What is it?

First one is is a Gareth Bull Shamwari. What a knife for EDC...It is awesome indeed

I'll let Marthinus tell you more about his beauty and how smooth the IKBS system on it works :-)
