Not much to say about it really. That one was a freebie with 6 bottle tops from Westons cider ......a premium cider maker located a few miles from where I live. It has been a life saver on many occasions! Similar ones are found in most outdoor shops in my area. Of aluminium construction....... and definitely an essential EDC!

ALLHSS, that's a great edc blade right there and tough as nails! I've been chopping sumac and other scrub trees on the trails local to me and it's still rock solid.

Yeah man, I love it. Super easy to sharpen after the inevitable beatings it takes too. I think it's one of the best values out there. It can definitely scare the more "civilized" folk though, so the micro trapper is a good pairing with it.

I have always really liked the tuff, seems like ut could take a beating too. Also, if I may ask, can you pull down on the axis and wrist flick your 530 open and closed?

Not to but in, but I could with mine. It's not as easy as other BMs though since the blade is so light. You need more wrist to make up for it's lack of inherent momentum.

Figured I'd share by experience as some people don't AXIS flick.

I thought that was probably it. It does have a but different lock I guess, as it kind of kicks the blade out.

Yeah exactly, if you just pull down on the AXIS it'll jump the blade out maybe a half inch or so. Just about every AXIS folder I've owned did that.

Had My eye on the Tuff for a few days now, it's not ugly, but it's not beatiful, i'm not sure if i Will like it or not.
Did you liked it from the start, or have you learned to like it? :)
