Jason,

You should be extremely excited! The Socoms are great knives. They run on ceramic bearings. It may take a little while to break in. In addition to the Socom Elite, I have a custom carbon fiber Whaleshark, a production Whaleshark, 2 of the Matrix in carbon fiber, and a custom DOC in carbon fiber. They are extremely well made knives.

I'm wearing green pants today, so it's my green grip drop point with a black blade! These benchmades turn into gravity knives once broken in!
 
My Mini Grip has kicked everything else out of my pocket for about a week now. I had a really hard time warming up to it since I bought it several months back, but I'm really impressed with the 154CM steel. It really is a great EDC and work knife.
 
Oh and today I've got my Knockout...just got if off the exchange. She's definitely seen some action but I'm looking forward to adding a few more battle scars.
